It depends on how your institution has configured the platform:

• Public Website Mode (ON): You can browse syllabi, courses, topics, attempt quizzes, view study notes, and read Previous Year Question PDFs — all without creating an account.
• Public Website Mode (OFF): You must sign up / log in before accessing any content beyond the landing pages.

Even in Public Mode, creating a free account lets you save your progress, unlock the 5-level difficulty-progression system, view long-term analytics on your dashboard, and take your membership subscription across devices.

ExamKracker supports two simple, secure methods:

• Email + Password (Django Allauth): Standard registration with email verification.
• One-Click Google Sign-In: Uses Google Identity Services (no password needed). We only receive your name, email address, and Google profile avatar — we never see or store your Google account password.

From the Login page, click "Forgot Password" and enter the email address associated with your ExamKracker account. You'll receive an email with a secure single-use password-reset link valid for a limited time. If you originally signed up with Google, you can simply click "Continue with Google" to log back in without resetting anything.

Yes! Personal, non-commercial multi-device usage is fully supported (laptop + phone + tablet, etc.). However, sharing a single account with other individuals violates our Terms & Conditions, degrades your personal analytics by mixing other people's attempts into your dashboard, and may result in account suspension if detected. Each user should maintain their own account.

1. Log in to your ExamKracker account.
2. Click "Subscribe" in the top navigation, or go to /subscribe/.
3. Review the plan details and pricing.
4. Click "Pay via Razorpay" — you'll be taken to the secure Razorpay checkout page.
5. Complete the payment using UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit card, Wallet, or any Razorpay-supported method.
6. Once Razorpay confirms the transaction, you are redirected back to ExamKracker and your Premium Membership activates automatically. A payment receipt is emailed to you.

No. All ExamKracker memberships are one-time, non-recurring purchases. We do not store your card details, and your subscription will never auto-charge. When your membership nears expiry, we'll display friendly in-app reminders so you can manually extend if you wish.

Because we deliver instant digital access, refunds are discretionary — but we do offer them in good faith under specific limited conditions (duplicate/unauthorized charges, complete service failure within 48h, or a 48-hour cooling-off window where you haven't materially used the service). ExamKracker uses a 5-level adaptive progression ladder designed to build mastery systematically:

1. Level 1 – Easy: Direct concept-recall questions.
2. Level 2 – Medium: Single-step application questions.
3. Level 3 – Hard: Multi-step analytical questions.
4. Level 4 – Expert: Exam-level, time-bound, multi-concept questions.
5. Level 5 – Master: Toughest questions designed for aspirants targeting top percentiles.

You "level up" by demonstrating a minimum accuracy threshold (configurable by the site administrator) on the current level. If you're a Premium Member, all 5 levels are unlocked from day one so you can jump directly to the stage that suits you.

Yes. If you close your browser tab or navigate away in the middle of a quiz, ExamKracker saves your in-progress session and you can resume where you left off the next time you open that same subtopic. Your session state is persisted via secure session cookies and per-user records on the server.

Questions are marked instantly as you submit each answer. To prevent answer-sharing bots, certain pieces of feedback are released gradually: per-question correctness as you answer, followed by the full explanation and correct answer after the quiz concludes, with review mode enabled in-session at the end. The exact gating can be fine-tuned by the site administrator from the settings.

By default, PDFs open inside a secure in-browser viewer with the toolbar hidden, direct-download buttons disabled, and right-click blocked to protect the source materials.

However, if the Site Administrator has enabled the "Allow PDF Downloads & Full Viewer Toolbar" option in Site Settings, all PDF viewer pages open with the standard browser toolbar, a visible "⬇ Download PDF" button, and right-click Save As enabled. The administrator controls this feature globally from the management dashboard.

This is by design when the site is in secure-viewing mode. It helps reduce unauthorized redistribution of copyrighted study material. If you believe legitimate fair-use copying should be allowed, please contact the Site Administrator — they can toggle the full PDF viewer mode on at any time from the Site Settings dashboard.

Your dashboard (Premium Members get the full view; free users see a summary) displays lifetime and recent performance including:

• Total questions attempted, correct count, and overall accuracy %.
• Accuracy broken down by Topic and Subtopic (weak-area identification).
• Difficulty progression ladder status per subtopic.
• Recent quiz-session history with one-click resumption of in-progress sessions.
• Weak-topic recommendations and AI-driven focus-area suggestions.

At this time, individual quiz attempts are not user-deletable through the UI (they are used to calibrate weak-topic analytics over the long term). If you want to have your personal data and history erased to exercise the Right to be Forgotten under applicable privacy law, please submit a data-erasure request via the Contact page referencing our Privacy Policy; we handle verified requests within the statutory timeframe.

No — we never sell your personal information. We only share minimal, strictly-necessary data with trusted sub-processors required to deliver the service: Razorpay (secure payment processing), Google (if you use Sign-In with Google), and our cloud/hosting providers. Cookies are tiny text files your browser stores to help websites remember state information. ExamKracker uses them for: (1) session authentication and CSRF protection — necessary for the platform to work, (2) UI/UX preference storage — functional convenience, (3) if enabled by the administrator: de-identified Google Analytics to understand overall traffic patterns, and (4) if AdSense is enabled: advertising personalization. You can delete or block cookies via browser settings; see the complete breakdown in our Cookie Policy.

Absolutely not. All payment processing is outsourced to Razorpay — a PCI-DSS Level-1 compliant payment gateway. Your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, and banking credentials never touch our servers. We retain only the order ID, date, amount, and transaction status for accounting and subscription activation purposes.

Please send a formal DMCA / Section 52-compliant takedown notice through the Contact page with the exact URLs of the allegedly-infringing material, proof of your copyright ownership, and the other elements outlined in detail in Part C of our Refund, Cancellation & DMCA Policy. We act on valid notices within statutory timelines and provide a counter-notice procedure for mistaken removals.

Short answer: personal fair use is fine; systematic or commercial redistribution is not. You may discuss individual questions in study groups or reference notes for your own personal exam prep. You may not copy, bulk-export, scrape, upload to third-party drives or "notes-sharing" websites, print-and-sell, or otherwise commercially exploit any ExamKracker content — doing so violates the Terms & Conditions and applicable copyright law and may result in account termination and/or legal proceedings.

1. Refresh the page with Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R to force a hard reload (bypasses your browser cache).
2. Try a different browser or an Incognito/Private window (rules out corrupted cookies or cached old JS).
3. Disable browser extensions, especially ad-blockers or script-blockers — some overly aggressive extensions interfere with CSRF tokens, Google Sign-In, or Razorpay checkout flows.
4. Ensure JavaScript and cookies are enabled in your browser.
5. If the issue persists, screenshot your browser's developer console (F12) and share it with us via the Contact page.

This is extremely rare and almost always caused by a transient network drop during the Razorpay webhook callback. Don't worry — we'll fix it promptly.

1. Wait 10 minutes and check the Payments/History page again; most failed callbacks self-heal via Razorpay retries.
2. If still not activated after 10 minutes, contact us via the Contact page with your email, date of payment, and the Razorpay Payment ID (starts with pay_ or is visible on your bank/upi statement).
3. We'll cross-reference with Razorpay and manually activate your membership within one business day.
